About Us
Arkids Pediatric Day Centers is a specialized developmental preschool and day care program for children with special needs and developmental delays. We are licensed by the State of Arkansas as an EIDT (Early Intervention Day Treatment) program to provide the following services:
- Cognitive, Motor, and Social Emotional Developmental in a preschool classroom environment
- Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Evaluations and Treatment
- Nursing and Medical Services
- Breakfast, lunch and snack following USDA guidelines
- Individualized Treatment Plans for each child
- Low teacher to student ratios
How Do I Get Started?
To enroll in our program a child must be Arkansas Medicaid eligible and be referred by his/her primary care physician. The following conditions help determine qualification for our program:
- Developmental Disability and/or Delay
- Referral for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and/or Speech Therapy
- Medically Fragile and/or Complex Health Needs such as:
- Assisting Ventilator-Dependent
- Tracheostomy
- Feeding Tube
- Catheterizations
- Breathing Treatments
- Monitoring of Vital Statistics
- Administration of Medication
- Medical Diagnoses of:
- Intellectual Disability
- Spina Bifida
- Cerebral Palsy
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Epilepsy/Seizure Disorder
- Down Syndrome
